Who are the Druze who separated from Muslims, for whom Israel attacked Syria
In the last few days, it was being said that the relations between Israel and America with Syria are improving. Meanwhile, Israel surprisingly started attacks on Syria on Wednesday. These attacks were carried out on the Syrian Defense Ministry and damage was caused by entering inside Damascus. Israel has tried to justify these attacks on Syria by taking the name of the Druze community. Israel says that the government security forces have attacked the people of the Druze minority community in Syria. We have attacked in response to that atrocity. Israel says that we are ready to protect the Druze community and will not let any harm come to them.
The population of the Druze community in southern Syria is close to 5 lakh and they are an important minority community. Israel says that the jihadists have gained strength under the leadership of President Ahmed al-Shara in Syria. They are now targeting southern Syria, where there is a large population of Druze. Israel says that there have been several attacks in the Druze-dominated city of Sweida and people from the minority community have been killed in them. The Syrian army entered this area on Monday. Israel said that we have attacked only for the safety of these Duzes.
How did the relationship of Dujs separate from Islam
Now let’s talk about the Druze community. Even though their roots are connected to Islam, they consider themselves different from them. The Guj community came into existence in the 11th century by separating from the Shia Ismaili sect. The people of the Druze community are also a part of the pair of Abrahamic religions. These people are also monotheists, that is, they also believe that God is one. However, some of their beliefs are different from Islam. For example, the people of the Druze community believe in reincarnation. Apart from this, they are also fatalists. The people of the Druze community are basically Arabs and their language is also Arabic.
The Dujs also have a belief like Hindus
The Druze mainly live in Syria, Lebanon, Israel and Jordan, although they have small settlements abroad as well. The maximum number of Druze, about 5 lakh, are settled in Syria and Golan Heights alone. An important part of them is also settled in Israel. The people of Israel and the Jewish community find them close to them. One reason for this is that they are also Abrahamic religion and secondly they do not believe in the beliefs of Islam. Conversion and inter-religious marriages are not allowed in the Druze religion. They have also had a good participation in the Israeli army. At the same time, these people have often been victims of violence from Islamic extremists.
