Tanushree shared a video crying and said- ‘I am being harassed in my own house’

Actress Tanushree Dutta has shared a shocking video on social media. In the video shared on Instagram on Tuesday, the actress is seen crying bitterly. She is saying that for the last several years she has been facing exploitation in her own house. She is fed up with this situation and today she has called the police. Tanushree has appealed to the people for help.

Health has deteriorated due to exploitation

In the shared video, the actress is crying and saying, ‘I am being harassed in my own house. I have just called the police. The police came’. She further said that she will go to the police station tomorrow and file a proper complaint. The actress said, ‘I am not well. I have been harassed so much in the last four-five years that my health has deteriorated. I am not able to do any work. My house is completely messed up’.

Who is the culprit?

Tanushree further said, ‘I am not able to keep maids in my house because they have planted the servant. I have had very bad experiences with the maids. They used to come and steal and do all sorts of things. I have to do all my work myself. People come and stand outside my door’. However, Tanushree has not clarified who those people are and who is she talking about?

Harassment is going on since 2018

Tanushree has written a caption with the video, ‘I am fed up with this harassment! This has been going on since the year 2018. Today, fed up, I called the police. Please someone help me! Do something before it’s too late’. She has also written hashtag MeToo in the caption.

Strange sounds are heard around the house

Apart from this, Tanushree has also shared another video. It looks completely dark, but strange sounds are heard. Tanushree has written in the caption that such sounds are often heard. She is being harassed. The actress has written, ‘I have faced such loud noises and other very loud banging sounds above my terrace and outside my door at odd hours almost every day since 2020! I got tired of complaining to the building management and gave up a few years ago. Now I just live with this. To distance myself from these sounds, I wear headphones with Hindu mantras. Today I was very ill. Due to constant stress and anxiety for the last 5 years, I have developed chronic fatigue syndrome. There is still a lot that I will mention in the FIR.

 

Nana Patekar was accused

Let us tell you that in the year 2018, Tanushree Dutta accused Nana Patekar of sexual harassment during the shooting of the film ‘Horn OK Please’ in 2008. Tanushree filed a complaint against Nana Patekar at Oshiwara Police Station in October 2018. In March this year, Mumbai’s Andheri Court refused to take cognizance of the ‘Me Too’ allegations leveled by Tanushree Dutta against Nana Patekar in 2018. The Magistrate Court dismissed Tanushree Dutta’s petition saying that there is no evidence to prove the allegations of sexual harassment in the complaint filed by actress Tanushree Dutta.
