What is special about Jaguar

This is a British-French supersonic jet attack aircraft. It is a precision strike aircraft used in ground attack and anti-ship missions. It is capable of flying at an altitude of 36 thousand feet. It can reach an altitude of 30 thousand feet in one and a half minutes. Along with this, it can also take off or land from a short runway of 600 meters.

Total five crashes this year, three of them Jaguar

This year i.e. 2025, a total of 5 plane crashes have taken place so far. Four of these are fighter planes. With the crash in Churu, 3 Jaguar fighter jets have crashed so far. While 1 Mirage has also crashed. 1 transport aircraft – AN 32 has crashed.

First of all, Mirage-2000 crashed on 6 February. Mirage took off from Gwalior Air Base for its routine flying. This aircraft was the trainer version of Mirage. It crashed near Shivpuri in Madhya Pradesh. Both the pilots ejected safely. Transport aircraft An-32 crashed on 7 March. It crashed at Bagdogra Air Base itself.

In the report presented in Parliament in December last year, it was said that between 2017 and 2022, a total of 20 fighters, 7 helicopters, 6 trainer aircraft and 1 transporter aircraft were victims of accidents.
