Next‑Gen Triber Lands in India: Fresh Styling, 7 Seats & Renault’s New Logo
Finally, after a long wait, Renault has launched the all-new Triber in the country. We have seen the 7-seater in the spy shots, and the recent teaser also confirmed the new brand logo. That said, the compact 7-seater has now been revealed and undergone a major design overhaul. So, what does the new Renault Triber have to offer? And most importantly, is it still India’s most affordable 7-seater?
Renault Triber Launch
Renault has finally launched the new Triber in the country. The refreshed compact 7-seater has been launched in 4 variants – Authentic, Evolution, Techno and Emotion. It also gets new colour options – Amber Teracotta, Shadow Grey & Zanskar Blue. Talking about the pricing, the new Triber has been priced between Rs 7.27 lakh & Rs 10.58 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). So, does the Triber still offer the value-for-money proposition with the new pricing?
New Design & Features
As expected, the new Triber gets an updated exterior & interior design language. On the outside, the Triber gets a new front fascia that includes new LED headlamps, an updated front grille, and redesigned front bumpers. At the same time, the side profile can be seen with new alloy wheels. The rear has also been refreshed with new LED tail lamps & redesigned bumpers. That said, the overall silhouette is still the same as the old car.
A major refreshment has been done on the inside as well. The Triber has finally received a major interior makeover with an updated dashboard design. And yes, the feature list has also been updated. With the new Triber, Renault is offering features like – 8.0-inch floating touchscreen system, cruise control, rain sensing wipers, dual-tone interior colour theme, auto-folding ORVMs and more.
Renault Triber Launch – Engine & Specifications
Mechanically, the Triber remains unchanged. Just like the previous model, the Triber continues to offer a 1.0-litre NA Petrol Engine (71bhp & 96Nm). The gearbox options are also the same with 5-speed MT & 5-speed AMT transmission options.
