Alex Cooper booed for her rendition of ‘Take Me Out to the Ballgame’ at Wrigley Field

Alex Cooper was loudly booed during her version of the seventh inning stretch. It’s safe to say baseball fans weren’t impressed by Cooper’s rendition of “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” at Sundays Chicago Cubs and St. Louis Cardinals game. The 30-year-old was invited to perform the classic baseball song during the seventh inning stretch at Chicago’s Wrigley Field.

“Alright, Daddy Gang,” are the first words the podcast host utters into the mic to get the crowd excited. Initially met with cheers, the stadium, quickly turned on the “Call Her Daddy” host, booing her and she sang her way through the Baseball classic.

Cooper maintained her composure, not missing a beat (was she even on beat?) and ended her moment with smiles and laughter.

Social Media

Her eyebrow raising performance has been shared on social media prompting fans and trolls to come out to defend and criticize this now viral moment.

“You know it’s bad when you get booed during the stretch. Most get booed for a bad rendition of the National Anthem, but this is pathetic,” one user comments.

“Call her embarrassing,” a second one wrote, playing off her wildly successful podcast name, “Call Her Daddy.

“The person who invited her to sing this should be fired?” another user wrote.

If there’s anything we know about Alex Cooper, none of this will phase her. Keep doing you, girl!
