Some other metals are also used in 9 carat gold, due to which the colour of those jewellery never fades. All types of jewellery designs are available in it, from stylish to traditional.
How many types of gold are there?
The following carats of gold are currently available in the industry as recognized by the Bureau of Indian Standards, which people are buying:-
●24 carat gold has a purity of 99.9 and people buy it as coins or as an investment.
●22 carat gold is 91.6% pure and is used to make jewelry.
●18 carat gold is up to 75% pure. Modern jewelry is made from this gold and it is also an option for rose gold ornaments.
●14 carat gold is 58.5% pure and is used for light jewelry.
●10 carat gold is 41.7% pure. It is used for fashionable jewelry.
●9 carat gold is 37.5% pure and is an affordable option for people.
Which carat gold is in more demand among customers?
However, 22 carat is used in the market for general jewelry. On the other hand, for 24 carat gold jewellery, its coins or biscuits are first bought and then jewellery is made from them. This becomes an option for rich customers. For the middle class and the youth, the demand for 18K, 14K and now 9K gold has increased a lot. Actually, with the help of this carat gold, designer and trendy jewellery can be bought at affordable prices.
